Core FTP

i got it man i didnt know that i had to use the password from my cpannel the guy i talked to said make up a name and password i got it now.

ok well i made a new name and password. caps locks are not on or anything. the thing is, is that it is a download so do i have to use a certain pass and username?? thanx for ur fast reply also.

ok well for some reason i have downloaded 2 different ftp programs and when i hit connect it says 530 Authentication failed, sorry. does anyone know why this is or what could be causing this?? if so please give ideas.
